Help us prepare for Teen Read Week 2009! Enter the teen photo contest today!
Rules:
- You must be between the ages of 12 - 18.
- Photos must be library-appropriate as determined by library staff.
- Photos should visually represent what “your reality” means to you.
- Digital or print photos are acceptable.
- All entries must be your original work.
- All participants (photographer & all subjects pictured in a photo) must provide their full name, age, and contact information with their photo.
- Photographs will be posted on Wired2go.net and voted on by community teens.
- Photographs will be placed in two categories:
- Traditional photos (not digitally enhnaced)
- Digitally altered/enhanced photos
- Maximum of 2 entries per person.
- All entries must be submitted by October 1, 2009.
- Photos will not be returned to participants.
Prizes:
- The photographer with the winning entry in each category will receive a $50 gift card. Winning entries will be announced by October 16, 2009.
How to submit your entry:
- Email your photo to Teen-Librarian@ScottsdaleAZ.gov . Include your full name, age, and phone number(s) with your entry. You must also include the full name, age, and phone number(s) for anyone else in the photo.
- Bring your photo to any Scottsdale Public Library. Submit your full name, age, and phone number(s) with your entry. You must also submit the full name, age, and phone number(s) for anyone else in the photo.
By submitting an entry with your full name, age, and phone number you:
- Certify that this is your original work.
- Give the Scottsdale Public Library and/or the City of Scottsdale the right to use your name, image or likeness, and creative works.
- Release all claims for compensation related to the use of these materials.
- A signed release form may be required if your entry is selected as the winner.
