The Beast By Walter Dean Myers: (**) stars

This book was a good book if you do not mind reading about he i nice young mans life turns from a nice happy world with a happy family good friends great, close girlfriend, to a slightly older young man that has to leave all this behind and returns to a completely changed life the main character is changed from up to down and down to up.  I do not recommend this book to any grade middle school student because I feel this book sticks you with the thought,  wait could this really happen, and with younger minds it might just be to difficult to shy away from that thought process.
