The novel Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson was an interesting story of a girl who goes to a wild party during the summer and it ends up affecting her for the rest of her life. When she walks into high school her freshman year, she can feel the hatred towards her from so many people. This story has mystery drama and suspense through out the entire story, and makes you want to turn the page.
